Easter Weekend

On Easter weekend, the Easter Bunny came and brought all of us some really fun baskets of treats and toys.  At 5:30  in the morning, Ryan discovered that he came.   I had to beg Ryan to let me sleep in a little longer.  We finally all got ready to hunt for eggs at the Dinosaur Museum.  We got there for the final round.   We didn't bring our camera or his Easter basket, so we had to use a bag from the Gift store.   Ryan loved it.   Eggs were right in the pathways.  We tried to help him be courteous of other children, mentioning ever so often not to take all the eggs.  He dug one out of the sand box where the dinosaur bones are hidden.   At the end, he had to give his eggs back for a prize.  He chose some mini brightly colored dinosaurs.  Alexis received a little Ronald McDonald toy she enjoys chewing on.  We stopped at Davis Jubilee on the way home for doughnuts.  We passed a line of children to see the Easter Bunny.  Ryan ended up receiving a decorated Easter cupcake from a kind lady at the cupcake booth located in the middle of the line.

That evening we met up with our Family at Split Mountain for a BBQ.  Barbara brought really fun Easter baskets for Ian, Ryan, and Alexis.  She and Robert hid some eggs in the bushes for Ryan to find.  They are so fun.
